The State Government have been implementing a scheme, "Member of Legislative Assembly Local Area Development (MLALAD) Fund" effective from 1997‐98 on the lines of "Member of Parliament Local Area Development (MPLAD) Fund". Under this scheme, an amount of Rs. 3.00 Crore (General Component - Rs 2.00 Crore, Education Component - Rs. 0.50 Crore and Road Component- Rs. 0.50 Crore) is provided to each Assembly Constituency from the FY 2020-21.
